Spring time festival celebrating our Trees for Life wood

On 28th May 2016 we invite you to our family woodland festival up in the South Field at RHS Gardens Harlow Carr, Harrogate. Here you will find our Trees for Life wood, host to hundreds of fledgling native ‘Hero Trees’- Oak, Rowan, Willow, Scots Pine, Hornbeam and Hazel.

On the day, performers will be beautifully bringing to life two of these ‘Hero Trees’ of the forest, through storytelling and song.

Elsewhere in the field you will find face painting, woodland crafts, adventures trails, music and our very own Cone Exchange. The event starts at 10am and ends with a special tree planting ceremony at 3pm. All activities are free and are based on a first come first serve basis. Normal garden admission applies.
