Our Trees for Life wood at RHS Garden Harlow Carr has really bedded in over the last few months. Our hope is that the small wood, filled with many of our best-loved British species, will provide an inspiring and enjoyable space to learn why trees are so important to us. Saplings that we planted in autumn last year are springing up among a carpet of wildflowers and grasses and visitors can enjoy reading the story of some of Britain’s ‘hero’ trees as they stroll around the wood. We worked with talented illustrator Georgina Gill to help bring the woodland, and its variety of important species to life. Here you can see a few elements from her beautiful work.
